This saturday we thought it would be nice to open the beautiful and peaceful community garden for all of our friends, old and new. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind, especially as we get closer to christmas. Sometimes christmas can be a very stressful time, brilliant, but hectic, and so to escape the rush why not come to our gardens to sit by the fire, enjoy the peace of the nature and take a few hours out with some tea and biscuits? The community garden is one of Nottingham’s most natural and tranquil spots. On saturday you can enjoy gardening activities, nature conservation and some great crafts. There will be a willow weaving instructor so that you can learn how to make beautiful ornaments and decorations out of willow that you can take home with you. So if this sounds good to you, please do come and see us. It’ll be a lovely way to spend a saturday, meeting new people and enjoying the fire… For those who don’t know, we’re on the hungerhill allotments in st. anns, you can see a map here.... maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&msid=112658029868963238616.000454bbf8f646b24a80c&ll=52.970676,-1.133226&spn=0.001627,0.003439&t=h&source=embedand you just need to give Paul a ring on 07973116291 before arriving at the main gate on Ransom Road where we will let you in. There is some parking, and the 40 and 41 bus will get you to the bottom of Ransom Road and you just need to walk up to the gate. Wishing you a peaceful and enjoyable week, and we hope to see you on saturday. We’ll get the kettle on x
