Hello there good people
We had a full house last month at All Ours, (a whopping 42 people came !)
Thanks to the Middle Street jugglers and Metropolitan Housing support trust and to our new chef Rebecca, people were kept entertained, informed and very well fed!
Cos of the fantastic turn out, we are actively seeking some new volunteers for next month and for in the future. If you know anyone that you think you might be interested, please can you forward on this email. We are looking for reliable, friendly people who can instigate a board game or a game of table tennis. do a spot of washing up, make the odd cup of tea and generally smile at people!
Plans are now afoot for the Lost Artists to join forces with us and have their creative gatherings at the Hermitage community centre.
This will bring new benefits and opportunities for us all. The Lost Artists will set up from 2pm-5pm and the All Ours social will still run from 3pm-5pm.
We have also put in for some funding now with FIG (food initiatives group) to cover 6 monthly socials with light healthy 2 course meal. There would be opportunities for volunteers to make soup and cakes with our new chef.
Anyone that is interested in helping out can email me or call me on 07915231131.thankspenny
Future All Ours socials will be on the 2nd Saturday of the month - dates are February 13, March 13th and April 10th
